There is a place—the Valley of Achor—that is mentioned only three times in the Bible: Joshua 7:24-26, Isaiah 65:10, and Hosea 2:15. In Joshua it is a place of desolation and shame. In Isaiah and Hosea it is a place of hope. How can this be?
