Giving Life, part 1: Bruce Hopler(Dec. 3, 2006)
Jesus once turned water into wine. He also said that we would do greater miracles than what he ever did. On the 17th I will deal more with tangible things we value where as here I will deal with more giving actions. What if this Christmas we gave life. We invested into the poor (cold weather shelter) or into a child. When we make a difference in a life, we do a greater miracle than changing one substance into another. This Christmas lets do a better job of giving life, putting our faith into action, and perhaps we will see the miracle of Christmas in a way far greater than we ever imagined.
