COLD WEATHER SHELTER needs YOU
March 2-9, 2009
You say this is so far away – but no! We need to establish our Team NOW. Check out the areas where we need team leaders. Where can you serve? Jump at the opportunity to be on a terrific team of men and women. You will not be leading alone. Guidebook to get you started. Each Team will have volunteers to support the team leader throughout the week.
Meals – coordinate volunteers to provide dinner for guests throughout the week. Coordinate donations of food for continental breakfast and bag lunches
Transportation – coordinate drivers to transport guests from the Columbia Mall each evening to Cornerstone then returning guests to the Mall each morning.
Facilities –lead volunteers to set up the facilities of the church to receive guests and reset for church at the end of the week
Spiritual Support – to have a volunteer available each evening to pray with or visit with our guests as needed.
