Obviously, The Blizzard of 2010 has made it impossible for Cornerstone to gather together in corporate worship on Sunday, February 7. So we’re doing the next best thing. Me Time local outreach

Me Time is about giving single moms in the Columbia area time to chill out, get pampered, do some artistic crafts and get to know people within Cornerstone. If you feel you could provide child supervision, provide or serve drinks or snacks, assist with crafts, pamper or just chat with our guests we’d love for you to get involved. This is a great opportunity to serve and build friendships, and anyone can help out!

Dominican Republic mission trips

Cornerstone members are once again traveling to the Dominican Republic to witness for Christ and to continue the work of the Lord. Previous trips have had us help to build a well that is being used by a church in Santa Rosa, a small area outside of Bani. This well brings clean drinking water to this community. We have also provided teacher training to this same community and supported a women’s retreat. We work with the churches of Red del Camino, get to know the people of the country, their way of life, their challenges and their successes. It is a powerful venture that will affects the lives of all who travel. Our next trip is a men’s trip, February 20-27.
