Caring for Each Other

At Cornerstone, we know how important is to be cared for. The Internal Care Ministry Area is here to serve Cornerstone’s attendees and their immediate families. Here are the ministries under the Internal Care Area.

Stephen Ministry: Stephen Ministry trains and equips community members to provide confidential, distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing many kinds of life needs and circumstances, both within our church and in the surrounding community. Some of these situations include serious hospitalization or prolonged illness, death and grief, depression, loss of employment, and family stress. Trained Cornerstone partners are willing to journey with you. Contact Michelle Craig or Terry Bouma.

Meals Program: This temporary meal service is provided during illness, passing of a family member, baby arrival, or special needs. Contact Peggy Newlen.

Prayer Chain: When you’re in need, it is comforting to know that someone is praying for you. We share prayer requests by email with a group of people who commit to bring them with faith to our Father’s throne. Contact Audie Lea Richeson.

Baby Welcoming: Welcoming Cornerstone’s youngest members! We prepare a package with items for the new baby. Contact Tanja Riddle.

Cards: We send out cards to those who’ve lost a close relative or are ill. Contact Cheryl Jenner.

Hospital Visits: Let us know if you or someone in your family is in the hospital, so we can pay them a visit! If you want to help, contact Mairim Ramos. We will try to pair you with people in hospitals in your area.
